Greetings from the CSTO Secretary General to the participants of KADEX-2012

On December 5-6, 2017 in Moscow, the CSTO Secretariat held a meeting of the Working Group on Military-Economic Cooperation under the Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation, in which Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Valery Semerikov took part.

      The event was held with the participation of representatives of the national parts of the Commission from all Member States of the Organization.

    In the course of the work, the meeting participants discussed the directions of further development of military-economic cooperation in the framework of the CSTO. First of all, the issues of improving the quality of jointly developed and manufactured military products, simplifying the procedures for their mutual deliveries, standardizing weapons and military equipment, developing cooperation and integration links between enterprises and organizations of defense industries of the CSTO member states, and organizing and conducting joint research and development work.

      These and other issues will be submitted for consideration at the XVI meeting of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation , which will be held in August 2018 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
