On the visit of the CSTO delegation to the Republic of Armenia to participate in events on military-economic and military-technical cooperation
January 29-30, this year A delegation of the CSTO Secretariat led by Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolai Bordyuzha will participate in a joint meeting of the Russian and Armenian national parts of the Interstate Commission on Military and Economic Cooperation and a meeting of the Inter-Agency Commission of the Republic of Armenia on coordinating activities implemented in the framework of the CSTO, ICAEC and Business Council at MKVES CSTO. The meetings will be attended by Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Artur Baghdasaryan and the chairman of the ICMEC, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Igor Karavayev, Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Valery Semerikov.

The events will discuss the creation in Armenia of certified service centers for the maintenance and repair of armored and engineering equipment, air defense systems and Mi brand helicopters, Russian-made motor vehicles and the possibility of organizing assembly production of cars based on the KAMAZ chassis. Also on the agenda of the meeting of the Russian and Armenian National Parts of the ICMEC are issues of creating communication systems and technical means of the new generation (integrated training systems) for training personnel of the security forces of the Republic of Armenia.
The CSTO Secretariat and the Office of the National Security Council of Armenia will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the CSTO Academy Foundation in the Republic of Armenia.
