Second Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States Parties to the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992

The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, hereinafter referred to as the Parties,

striving to further improve military-technical cooperation in the interests of the development of both the military and counter-terrorism potential of the Parties on the basis of the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States Parties to the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992 (hereinafter - the Agreement) signed 20 June 2000, taking into account the Protocol on Amendments and Additions to the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States Parties on Collective Security of 15 May 1992, signed on 19 September 2003,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The sixth paragraph of Article 1 of the Agreement, after the words "national armed forces", shall be added with the words ", by other troops, military formations, law enforcement agencies and special services".

Article 2

The first paragraph of Article 2 of the Agreement after the words "national armed forces" to add the words ", other troops, military formations, law enforcement agencies and special services."

Article 3

This Protocol is an integral part of the Agreement.

Article 4

This Protocol shall enter into force in accordance with Article 14 of the Agreement.

Done in the city of Dushanbe on October 6, 2007 in one authentic copy in Russian. The original copy is kept at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which will send each state that has signed this Protocol its certified copy.
