The team of the Russian Federation took the first in the final of the X International Complex Martial Arts Tournament among employees of special forces of the security agencies of the CSTO member states, which was held as part of the XVI International Exhibition of State Security Equipment INTERPOLITEX-2012.

The second place was taken by the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the third place went to the fighters from the special forces of the National Security Committee (KNB) of Kazakhstan. In Pavilion №75 in the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNH) in Moscow on October 25, 2012. the final of the X International Complex Martial Arts Tournament among the officers of the special forces of the security agencies of the CSTO member states, which was held under the motto "World Special Forces Against Terrorism and Drug Threats" ended.

The main prize of the tournament - the CSTO Collective Security Council Cup (Presidents Cup) was awarded to the team of athletes of the Federal Bailiffs Service of the Russian Federation headed by the Director of the FSSP of the Russian Federation - the Chief Bailiff of Russia Arthur Parfenchikov. The tournament was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty, the 10th anniversary of the creation of the CSTO, which are celebrated this year. More than 140 employees from the security agencies of the CSTO member states took part in the competition. Also, the teams of guests of the tournament from Vietnam, Poland and South Ossetia demonstrated their skills.

As the CSTO Deputy Secretary General H. Latypov said at the opening of the tournament on October 22, “under the CSTO flag every new such competition in integrated combat is of increasing international interest and attracting more and more participants.“ Our Organization fully supports the international sports movement in the CSTO format.

Complex martial art, as a qualitatively balanced set of power techniques and actions, is one of the promising sports for personnel of special power structures of the CSTO member states.

The International Integrated Martial Arts Tournament is held annually with the aim of improving the physical training of security forces, promoting Integrated Martial Arts among young people as an effective means of preparing for service in law enforcement and the armed forces, strengthening friendly sports ties between employees of special units of the security forces of the CSTO member states to enhance their training.
